Communication with other librarians with similar interests or work environments is an important benefit of membership in the Section. The Health Association Libraries Section provides several forums for communication. These include a Section newsletter, published bi-annually; an email discussion list; direct contact with Section officers; a chapter website; and a direct link to the Medical Libraries Association of which HALS is a section.
